CSTBat approval

The CSTBat label certifies products compliance to reference criterias, defined for several application areas. Among these areas, we can find:

• Clean water, sewage treatment
• Water distribution and sewerage system
• Pipes
• Connection tubes
• Ventilation system
• And so on

Certification criteria, in particular technical features, can vary from one area to another one.

The CSTBat label is deliverd by the CSTB, certifying body which is entitled to suspend or remove the compliance certifícate.

The CSTBat label is delivered after the request study and following the production site audit to:

• Ensure that the firm has set up a production control system.
• Check that products are compliant with technical criteria
• Make testing on product samples

Once the label is deliverd, regular audits are donce.

Consumers and users belong to the certification and evaluation CSTBat comitee, with experts and industrial professionals.
